Moving household items from MY to SG during COVID-19

Due to the sale of a property, we had to move several pieces of furniture and household items from Selangor to Singapore during the COVID-19 period.

We collected quotations from 10+ moving companies, and in the end went with Taipan Express Movers, because Jaya was very prompt with replying whatsapp and asked very detailed questions. We were reassured that they had already done several moves in the recent pandemic so they are familiar with the SOPs.

While Taipan Express Movers wasn’t the cheapest, the quote was not crazy expensive like some of the international moving companies. Furthermore, it was all-inclusive, even including Taipan Express Movers insurance!

The pre-move process was professional and stress-free. Jaya always prompted me with important information and questions, and was supportive of my enquiries and requests.

In both Malaysia and Singapore, the packers were experienced, accommodating, friendly and clean. We had 83 boxes in a 20ft truck and despite a delay at customs, unpacking completed on time.

We are so happy with the experience with Taipan Express Movers, and proud that it’s a Malaysian company! We hope they can continue to maintain such excellent service and personnel!

From the beginning to the end, they were on time, did not waste any time, they found little gaps to fulfill their lunch. I barely spoke a few words while watching them performing like robots.. they walked in, dismantled like pros, wrapped and said see you there. When arrived at delivery location, they asked me for a few confirmation, repeated what they did previously. Collected the payment and left. The most professional movers I have met to date, and if there is any moving I need, ill never have to look out again. Taipan Movers it has to be.

Reasonable pricing and quotation

Overall very good. Reasonable pricing and quotation, packers were good quality and in-transit advice and communication were very good through out . Also good support at destination end as well.
